Operation of aircraft with i.e.engines with a capacity in excess of .61 (two stroke) or 1.20 (four stroke) and large aircraft over 7kg but less than 20kg are subject to written approval by the Committee after formal submission of full details and flight testing in the presence of a committee member. Operation of aircraft over 20Kgs, i.e.models requiring a CAA exemption permit is prohibited. On joining Scarborough Model Flying Club new members will be given a Members Handbook outlining the full rules and acceptable behavior when visiting our flying site.
